For centuries, nude images in art have been a reflection of the social standards of aesthetics and morality. Nude art allows openly admiring the aesthetics of the human body and serve as markers of what society considers ethically acceptable. Nowadays, artists use a variety of techniques to create paintings of "explicit themes". Women and men become heroes, and nudity - partial or complete - carries both a frank erotic sensual message and an allegory.
Gallery ArtPort welcomes guests with a new exposition "NU".
In the center of attention is the title work of the same name, a painting by the hand of the outstanding artist Boris Abramovich Zaborov. The painting was bought by a collector from Belarus at an auction in the USA and returned to the author's homeland.
Boris Zaborov finished his journey in 2021 at the age of 85 and managed to leave a bright mark on the world art space. A significant moment in history was the acquisition of his work "The Artist and His Model" by the Uffizzi Gallery, Florence (2008).
For the first time, the oldest museum in the world is interested in a contemporary artist. (More details about the author can be found by clicking on the

The exhibition also features sculpture and graphics by Alexander Shappo, Andrey Ostashov and Anton Nichiporuk (A.Nich)
